Many social media users commented on the union as soon as the photos hit the internet. Some users decided to bash the father and new husband for his lifestyle choices and in response, he revealed that he will like to forget about his first family.

Engr. Idowu Philips was accused of embarrassing his kids by remarrying a younger wife and instead of letting the trolls go free, he took to the comment session of a post and lambasted them for questioning his moves as a man.

In one of the comments, he said: "I just want to forget Tokunbor (TBoss) and her siblings and start life afresh for all its worth. If and wherever TBoss and any her siblings gets married. It shall be without my blessings and woe unto the man or the woman who marries any of them. So shall it be by the power vested on me by God almighty."
