High Rate Of Unemployment Among Abia Graduates

There is indeed a high level of unemployment with the mammoth crowd that trouped out on Wednesday for interview into the state Local Government Service Commission. The the number of  unemployed graduates in the state calls for a serious action on the part of the government and other concerned individuals because when these youths are left like this it becomes a security risk since they can easily be recruited by miscreants to cause mayhem in the society to this end, the state government should check the system properly to weed out ghost workers so as to employ as much people as possible. It should also open up factories like ceramics, golden guinea breweries, etc. These will create more job opportunities for the teeming Youths . Also, efforts should be made at empowering and encouraging others to be self employed through Skill acquisition programmes and agriculture.
