Information reaching Abiastatenews.com has it that theINEC Officials involved in the movement of sensitive materials out of the INEC office in the early hours of today have pointed fingers to APGA candidate Alex Otti,The Officials are said to have confessed that they were bribed by Alex Otti to steal out some of the PDP winning ballot papers so as when the tribunal instructs for inspection and recounting of electoral materials PDP will have less ballot papers in INEC custody than what it declared winner with.
The INEC REC for Abia State Mrs Selina Oko confirmed that the two men are in police custody. It is believed that they have already confessed to be working for Alex Otti, she refused to name any party that might be involved including the PDP.
She said the two men have confessed to have been paid 50million Naira each by a party Agent for this deal. She promised to charge them and their inducers to court as soon as possible.
The Alex Otti section PRO has it that it might be another attempt by the Abia State Government to soil his name thereby having an edge to win the pertition tribunal. He said that Gov. T.A Orji can do any thing to win, including planting thiefs and making sure they get caught. He called for proper investigation.
