The independent National electoral commission
(Inec) few hours ago issued the outgoing
governor of Abia state Chief T.A Orji certificate of
return as Senator-elect for the Abia Central
Senatorial District.

Senator-elect was alleged to have gone through a
compromised process because the candidate of
the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in the
District Barr. Ahamdi Nweke felt he won, but the electoral umpire overruled the
reports and presented Chief Orji with certificate of
return as Senator Elect.
