The inauguration of APC State working committee held today in APC secretariat, Umuahia.
Former Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Martins Azubuike who happens to be a lawyer sworn in the State Legal Adviser Barrister Onuoha, who in turn sworn in other members of the state working committee.
After the swearing in, the State Chairman thanked everybody who came out to witness the inauguration and have stayed faithful to the party despite the differences which the party had recently.
In his words ”i want to thank the APC community, the newly sworn in state working committee, state executive, Local government areas and all others who have shown solidarity to the party.”
”I want to thank you for the solidarity you have shown today, there’s no victor or vanquished today. We in the APC have our differences but it can never affect us in the State, we are working towards taking over the government of Abia State.”
”We ask for understanding; the doors are open for all. Politics is a game, nobody can make it without the other, If by my desire and pursuit to carry out my duties, I step on you, i am sorry.”
”APC must bring back change, change in the system, change in the psychology of the people which will bring about development in the country”.
”And to our aspirants, do not allow your personal ambition to overrule you, remember that the party is supreme at all times,” he concluded.
