Rt Hon Martins Azubuike Refutes Declaration For Governorship Seat Through A Press Release

PRESS RELEASE: RT. HON. MARTINS AZUBUIKE DID NOT DECLARE FOR GOVERNOR

Rt. Hon. Martins Azubuike - Former speaker Abia state house of Assembly.

The attention of the Member Representing Isiala Ngwa North State Constituency and the former Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Martins Okechukwu Azubuike has been drawn to the news trending in the news media to the effect that he held a meeting in his house on Sunday 18th February, 2018, and in the said meeting, declared his intention to run for the Governor of Abia State in 2019 elections.

To put the matter succinctly, Rt. Hon. Martins Azubuike left Abia State on Friday 16th February, 2018 and is yet to return to the State.

He is only a law maker and has not been known as a magician, therefore could not have been in two places at the same time.

The reports by PUO REPORTS and ABIA BREAKING NEWS is unfounded, imaginary, a figment of the maker and should be discountenanced.

Rt. Hon. Martins Azubuike is presently concerned with joining hands with his colleagues at the State House of Assembly to make laws that will engender progress in the state and should not be distracted.

Concerning 2019 elections; Rt. Hon. Martins Azubuike will address his constituents, Abians and the press at the appropriate time.

Signed:
Hon. Prince Clinton Uba
Chief Press Secretary to the Rt. Honourable
