INEC has declared chief victor umeh of all progressive grand alliance as winner of Anambra central senatorial Rerun. Umeh who Beat 13 other candidates including current labour minister Senator chris Ngige of APC with a wide margin to emerge the winner. Declaring the result the result the Rerun returning officer prof charles Esimone said umeh scored the highest number of votes cast with 64878 (95.6%votes cast) and therefore was returned elected.
Also in Taraba State the candidates of PDP in the Saturday bye election to fill the seat of Aido Kola State constituency hon Dominic Bukuni has been declared winner of the election. The INEC Returning officer Dr Manu Donga declared that the PDP candidate polled 8,845 votes to defeat his closest rival hon Usman Sanusi of APC who garnered 8308 votes.
