Alhaji sule lamido and his team paid a visit to Abia State. While receiving him, the Governor Dr Okezie Ikpeazu Stated that there is hope for Nigeria with people like Alhaji Sule Lamido in PDP, he also commended him for his belief in oneness irrespective of religion and region. According to him there is no gainsaying our country is on a cliff hanger threatened by all kinds of self inflicted agitations and marveled at what happened to the string of fellowship that binds us together. In his word, this country yearns for a leader that will carry everyone along irrespective of where he or she comes from. We are in dire need of people who can look around and pick the best brains to navigate the affairs of this country and charged the party to start talking about the kind of leader we need, how marketable, what pedigree and how trustworthy the person is.
Earlier in his speech, Alhaji Sule Lamido said that he is in Abia State to interact with the Governor and his family PDP according to him events in the country have made him to go round with message of hope for Nigerians. He frowned at the level of deceit and inabilities of the government at the center to manage our human and capital resources which has brought disintegration, agitations and hunger in the country and commended the Governor for his continous drive and patronage of made in Nigeria products. Present at the occasion were the Speaker Abia house of Assembly Rt Hon Chinwendu Kalu, his Deputy Rt Hon Cosmas Ndukwe, PDP Chairman Chief Johnson Onuigbo, Commissioners and other top government officials.
