It took the efforts of security men to quell what would have been a deadly riot between Youths as Hausa/Fulani Cattle rearers at Water Side Ogbor Hill.
Currently the Army has formed a perimeter to protect the Hausa/Fulani community in Aba.
According to an eye witness Tony Ade, who works in GTBank Aba Branch near brass "Trouble started when an Hausa/Fulani man used a dagger to stab an Igbo trader, the Igbo trader took up a giant stick and struck the Hausa man, the Hausa man now went and called a soldier who is his brother, the soldier then shot the Igbo man point blank, he later died, this led residents to kill the Hausa man, Lynching the soldier who barely escaped being burnt by the angry Youths, other Hausas fled to their mosque where the Army formed a perimeter with both the Hausas, Yorubas and Igbos trapped inside it, as the street was completely blocked by the Angry youths who are demanding that the Soldiers give up the one that shot the Igbo man or the Mosque, the military and every one trapped inside in the perimeter will be burnt."
Nolmacy have since returned.
