Alex Otti Finally Goes To Appeal Over Abia Election

Alliance (APGA) in the April general elections in Abia  Alex Otti, on Wednesday, filed a notice of appeal against the judgment of the trial tribunal.

Otti’s counsel, Mr. Oracle Nwala, told abia state news in Umuahia, on Thursday, that the notice of appeal was at the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal in Umuahia Wednesday, disclosing that Otti took the measure consulting with the leaders of the party, stakeholders and people of the state “who voted
for him during the election”.
Nwala expressed the hope that the Court of Appeal grant Otti’s prayer to be declared the winner of the election considering the judgment of lower tribunal, which
the cancellation of the results of the election in three government areas.
