Cocoa Transformation Committee Abia State Inaugurated

The cocoa transformation committee Abia state was constituted and inaugurated by the Abia state deputy gov Sir Hon Udeh Oko-Chukwu at his office government house Umuahia.

In his speech, he charged the farmers to be more active in cocoa production as it now looks like a better alternative to oil, he also promised the farmers of government's interest in boosting cocoa production in the state.

He expressed government's willingness to encourage cocoa farming in Abia state as it's a major source of revenue. Responding to the deputy governor's speech, Chief David Onyenweaku (MFR) the No 1 cocoa farmer in the whole Nigeria thanked the deputy governor for his willingness in moving cocoa forward and promised the government of their total support in moving cocoa production to a higher level, he also admonished everyone to embrace cocoa production as his success today is attributed to cocoa production.
 

The committee is to be chaired by the deputy gov himself. Present at the meeting was the deputy gov, deputy chief of staff to the deputy gov, permanent secretaries to the relevant committed among whom is Deacon Sam Odoemenam, Chief David Onyenweaku ( MFR ) the No 1 cocoa farmer in the whole Nigeria who incidentally happens to be my dad, Me, myself and I was conspicuously present to haziela things.
