APGA Files Motion To Inspect Obingwa Electoral Materials In Court Or Inec Office Umuahia

Another round of legal tussle was witnessed at the gubernatorial tribunal between Dr. Alex Otti and Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu which held today in Umuahia. 

APGA legal team filed a motion requesting that electoral materials used in Obingwa LGA be moved to the court or INEC office in Umuahia for inspection.

The court had earlier granted APGA legal team the request to inspect the electoral materials, but the legal team were resisted from inspecting the electoral materials used in Obingwa LGA by Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu's legal team.

So by this motion filed by APGA, if granted, the electoral materials used in Obingwa will be moved from Obingwa LGA to Umuahia and the inspection will hold either at the court or INEC office depending on the place approved by the tribunal.

This motion is expected to be served the respondent before the adjourned date been Thursday 2nd July, 2015.

On 2nd July, 2015, the motion will be deliberated upon and positions reach.
