Re-Alex Otti’s Open Letter to the Inspector-General of Police

Re-Alex Otti’s Open Letter to the Inspector-General of Police

Written by Dr Orji

I read with consternation an advertorial signed by one Chris Uka, a self-styled Director of Media and Publicity for Mr. Alex Otti’s amorphous organization, lacking a clear structure called “Abia First” published in the Sun Newspapers of Tuesday January 9, 2015 titled “Open letter to the Inspector-General of Police on harassment, intimidation and vandalism in Abia State”.

Ordinarily, the publication could have been ignored but for the brazen recklessness and lack of respect for the office of the governor of Abia State in the spurious publication orchestrated by Mr. Alex Otti. Mr. Alex Otti in the publication could not decipher the distinction between a candidate and an aspirant.

Certain questions should be asked
Is Mr. Alex Otti, APGA candidate when Reagan Ufomba is also laying claim to the same candidacy? Is Mr. Alex Otti the APGA candidate when the matter is before the High Court? Is Mr. Alex Otti the APGA candidate when in the list of candidates published by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), APGA had no governorship candidate on record for Abia State? Is APGA the only political party in Abia State? The answers to these questions are clear and incontrovertible.

I therefore hold that the publication is the outburst of a frustrated desperate man, Mr. Alex Otti, who as a neophyte in politics is being deceived by 419ners and political jobbers, who are milking Otti but lacking in courage and conscience to tell him of his zero electoral value.

The publication is a clear initiation, masterminded by those milking and holding Alex Otti in political captivity, of a strategic retreat and assemblage of excuses for Mr. Alex Otti’s anticipated failure which is already becoming very clear to them.

It is on record that the state governor, His Excellency, Chief T.A. Orji, CON (Ochendo Global) has distinguished himself as a man of peace with a humble disposition and has received awards nationally and internationally on peace. Governor T.A. Orji restored peace to Abia State, has sustained this peace and has no business with violence.

Above all, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Abia State has a very credible governorship candidate, a doctor of philosophy in the person of Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, Ph.D who has been very active in politics for a long time and a product of the people unlike the case of Mr. Alex Otti.

Mr. Alex Otti’s petition is therefore utterly absurd, preposterous, comical, irrational, ridiculous and illogical. The public should discountenance such a frivolity.
