Information reaching Abiastatenews.com has it that former Abia gov Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu and the guber candidate of APGA in Abia state chief Alex Otti last night held a closed door meeting. The former Diamond bank MD who may soon face EFCC over fraud, it was learnt allegedly gave Kalu an undisclosed amount written in Ecobank bank cheque in preparation for the 2015 polls.
The meeting which had in attendance Mrs Eunice Kalu (odiuko), PPA chairman Emeka Okafor , and editors of Sun and Telegraph took place at Neya camp residence of Kalu at Igbere. Our source disclosed that Alex otti was there to seek the support of kalu ahead of next month election, Kalu promised to support him and even prevail on Udensi the the PPA candidate to step down.
"PPA will work for you, I don't mind not having a PPA guber candidate in this polls. Thank you for the good handshake chief Alex."
It was alleged that the former governor advised Alex Otti to revisit Odiuko privately to settle her for mutual understanding.
This rumor might be unfounded given that the man in question Orji Uzor Kalu is far richer than Alex Otti, he is currently the number 5 richest man in Nigeria, and the owner of SLOK group of companies.
